At Period Kits Ohio, we fight period poverty by partnering with nonprofits that support individuals and families, ensuring access to menstrual products as a basic human need.

Geoff D. | Founder

  

Geoff founded Period Kits Ohio in February of 2022. Geoff has worked in the nonprofit world for over twenty years and really focused on the issue of Period Poverty in the last four years. He is the founder of Period Kits Colorado and also helps advise Period Kits Minnesota. When Geoff moved to Ohio to help take care of his family, Period Kits Ohio was a natural step. 


"Period poverty is a complex issue, but Period Kits Ohio is simple. Any person that has a period should have consistent and dependable access to the products they need when they need them, period."


Geoff is the Recycling Manager at Wright-Patterson A.F.B., he enjoys camping, discovering craft breweries in Ohio, volunteering with Punk Rock Saves Lives, and cheering on his beloved Manchester United.

Monica R. | Secretary

Monica currently serves as Secretary for Period Kits Ohio. "How can you hear the stories and not want to help?" It's her goal to work with this amazing group of people to help end period poverty and remove the stigma around menstrual health. There are far to many people missing work or school due to lack of period products. After all, it's about health and dignity. Period.


Monica was a Hairstylist & Salon owner before returning to school at the age of 48. She obtained a degree in Health Information Management. Switching careers, she now works as a Researcher at the World's Largest Consumer Goods Company. In her downtime, you'll find her with friends & family, reading, traveling, and volunteering with the Down Syndrome community .

Natalie B | Board Member

 Natalie B is a passionate board member dedicated to our mission of ending period poverty and ensuring equal access to menstrual products. With a strong commitment to philanthropy and a deep compassion for the homeless, she has actively contributed to various non-profits in the Cincinnati area, including Hands Against Hunger, Matthew 25, and Heart Animal Shelter. Driven by her desire to support local communities, women, and those experiencing homelessness, she finds a perfect match in her role with Period Kits Ohio. Natalie holds an associate’s degree in biotechnology and currently works in Research and Development, where she has embraced numerous leadership roles throughout her career. Earlier on, she served as a doula for pregnant women, a role that solidified her commitment to advocating for women. With her diverse background and unwavering dedication, Natalie continues to be a strong voice for women through her work with Period Kits Ohio.

Monica W | Board Member

 

Monica is an experienced organizational leader with a strong background in enablement, talent development, and community-focused program design. She currently serves as Director of Service Readiness at VitalEdge, where she builds scalable learning initiatives that improve access, capability, and support for users across diverse communities.

Monica brings a people-first leadership style grounded in empathy, equity, and the belief that education and access create meaningful change. Her professional work is centered around building systems that uplift individuals, develop confidence, and remove barriers to participation—values that directly align with the mission of Period Kits Ohio.

Known for her collaborative approach, operational rigor, and commitment to service, Monica has been an advocate for inclusive cultures and women’s advancement throughout her career. She is passionate about supporting organizations that address dignity, belonging, and equitable access to essential resources, and is honored to support Period Kits Ohio in expanding its impact across the region.

Sara D. | Board Member

  

Sara Davis graduated last year with a Bachelors in Finance and currently works as an accounting specialist. She also has a degree in psychology and a passion for mental health advocacy. She has a personal understanding of the struggles of period poverty and lack of access that makes her passion apparent in the work she does with Period Kits. She's seen the changes that Period Kits has gone through since it's infancy and is excited to see the great things that she knows we will do in the future. In her free time, she liked to play video games, read, and travel as often as possible.

London D | Board Member

  

London Davis

Board Member

London Davis currently works as a low voltage electrician with degrees in Information Technology, Network Security, and Cloud Computing. He has a passion for all things technology and enjoys being able to work with his hands. Having grown up with many influential women in his life, he's always been empathetic to many of the struggles that women face in regards to menstrual health. He has helped in a small capacity as a volunteer since Period Kits was first formed and is excited to be taking a more engaged role in the past few years and in the future. In his free time, he tends to spend his time playing video games and has become a rather avid cook in recent years.

Elisabeth G. | Social Media Manager

Elisabeth is a member of the Ohio Air National Guard as a photojournalist. She owns two businesses in photography and social media content curation. Elisabeth has always felt called to advocate for women in a variety of ways. In her downtime you can find her traveling with her husband and three kids, creating art, reading books, or sitting back with a bag of popcorn and a good movie.
